Home Sweet Idaho

A trip to Kimberly was long over due, so Kallee and I decided since we both got Friday off that we would take advantage of it! We left Las Vegas Thursday night when I got home from work and as soon as Kallee finished up ALL her school work! We drove the ENTIRE way to Kimberly that night, arriving at 3:00 AM. My parents had no idea that we were coming so we had to sneek in through the garage but my mom was asleep on the couch when we walked in her surprise face was worth the long drive! I think she thought I was my dad at first, she looked up and asked what I was doing and then was like "oh, well hello.... what a nice surprise!" So funny! Oh don't worry that my dad didn't even move out of his bed. We could have been robbing his home and he didn't even stir! :)

Then that Friday morning Brian & Molly came over with the kids for the day. We finally got to meet Miss Bailee Lynn. She is soooo cute! I just love her and all her cute bows (no matter how much Krista makes fun of them!)

We met Krista and her boys for lunch at (yep, you guessed it) Papa Kelsey's! The boys were so excited to see all their cousins (minus Tyler & Emily). The rest of the day we spent hanging out at home (and yes I got my own personal tour of the new Twin Falls Walmart... thanks again Julie AND Mikey) and we had a bbq later that night! Oh how I miss those cool summer Idaho days!


On Saturday the O'Dell clan, my parents, Kallee, and I went to CSI to watch the fireworks. We went a little early to see the band play (which apparantly is an Andrew tradition, thanks to my mom). So we found a perfect spot and waited for dark to set in...

These boys absolutely LOVE Grandpa Andrew! He is so fun with them! I love it when Nick calls him "Pop Pop"

Then the fireworks show finally started. Nick was so excited and LOVED it. He kept saying "oooh!..... Wow!........... Fiyawok!"

The highlight of the evening came when we had to hike back to our car and Alex told everyone that "there is just one problem.....I'm just so dang tired!" :) It was a long day but so fun!

Then Sunday rolled around and we had to make the LONG car ride back to Vegas....back to sweltering heatwaves and long work days! I think I need another vacation! :)
