I heard the award came as a complete shock to both of them. I wish I could have seen their faces when their names were called while at dinner @ the park. Not easy to pull a surprise on my Dad! ;) Plus they got to ride in the Kimberly Good Neighbor Days Parade...lucky!
So CONGRATS Mom & Dad!
PS to top the weekend off my Dad was quoted in the Times News as the LDS employment specialist. He may have had 3 or 4 lines (and 2 quotes from him) used in the article. Side note- my parents have been called to serve a mission at the LDS employment center in Twin Falls, hence how my dad become the known "expert".

OH MY HECK! CONGRATS LILLY AND JOHNNY! I seriously heard them advertising Kimberly Good Neighbor Days on the radio last week and was going to text you to see if you guys were making a special trip up just for it! But now, I bet you wish you would have. Your family is pretty much famous now! You may have even gotten like a free empanada at Fiesta Ole that night to honor the family name!
